This is another fine example of how incredibly ignorant I can be despite all the time I've spent in the woods. I have a hunt that I do with a partner starting this Sunday and we kind of divide the property up and make our setups. Well after last year seeing how thick it was in there he brought this tool: www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=9712It was absoltely unreal to me that I've never thought to obtain one of these for hunting. Particularly since I grew up spedning summers at my uncles' farm and we used this tool all the time. I'm telling you that I made setups with this thing where I was able to precisely trim and maintain cover, where otherwise I'd of had to knock sapplings over before. I picked one up this morning for myself and will go and finish my final setup tomorrow. After using this tool on Sunday, I felt like a complete moron for not having used it previously.

i have one and use it all the time for business and personal use. i bought the craftsman polesaw because the pruning shear part tends to break after 2 or 3 years. since its considered a hand tool, you can take it back to sears and get a new one, if it ever breaks, no questions asked. lifetime warranty something to think about.
