damn im getting really frustrated. hunted the last three days in three different areas of patapsco state park(loaded with deer)and seen nothing. not one deer. i know theres deer there. its like they disappeared! i thought they were suppose to be running around like crazy right now. wtf! im scared to go back out this evening. if i dont see anything again i may very well destroy something in a madman fit of rage. do they usually not move as much right before the rut? seen tons of deer during the end of october and passed on a seven on mon, oct. 30th. starting to regret that now.

Here the bucks are chasing all night and then the mornings are quiet till around 9:30 when the does move a little, then by mid day/early afternoon the bucks are chasing again, nose down. The does are just starting, but aren't ready yet. We got 3-4 days of good chasing comign up right here. Don't give up the mid day or the evening hunts here the next 3-4 days.

I'm starting to get very frustated. Eight hunts this year and I've seen a total of 2 deer and both of them were on the same day. I'm hunting on a new property this year so I'm trying to get it figured out. Plus my boys have been wanting to go so that limits the stands i can hunt out of. To top it off I get to work this morning and the girl helping me is quiting this is her last week so that shoots the days off out the window.

Schucks fellas, at least you guys are hunting. I haven't been out in two weeks. I have no doubt missed the best week out of the whole year, but this nursing school is really kicking my butt. I plan on one or two hunts this weekend, but I have only been out a total of 7 times this year. Keep your head in the game and your chin up, because you never know what will coming by your tree. Your season could turn around in the blink of an eye.
