Spent 2 1/2 days hunting Nebraska and another day across the Missouri river hunting South Dakota. I was on birds all day, every day. Pretty unbelievable. I can't recall ever having only 1 tom come in. They were either in pairs, threes, fives or seven!!! I took birds on the first, third and fourth mornings. The birds were pretty henned up, but pretty responsive none the less. Weather was rain, sun/clouds and wind. Lots of wind. I have two of the three birds killed on film, plus a lot of other footage of strutting, jakes whipping up on gobblers, and setups where birds were just out of range. It was a great trip and one that I believe I'm going to make again next year. I probably seen between 20 and 30 jakes on several different properties, so there should be a ton of 2 year olds next year. Here are a few in the field photos. I will post harvest pics after I have them scanned in and depict my hunts. Enjoy. www.westernkentuckyoutdoors.com/3amigos.jpgwww.westernkentuckyoutdoors.com/3amigos_2.jpgwww.westernkentuckyoutdoors.com/barnyard.jpgwww.westernkentuckyoutdoors.com/barnyard_5.jpgwww.westernkentuckyoutdoors.com/beardedhen_1.jpgwww.westernkentuckyoutdoors.com/cedarbirds.jpgwww.westernkentuckyoutdoors.com/dynamicduo.jpgwww.westernkentuckyoutdoors.com/pasturejakes.jpghttp://www.westernkentuckyoutdoors....turejakes_2.jpg www.westernkentuckyoutdoors.com/SDstrutters.jpg

Excellant news Bill, congrats are in order. Well deserved "kudos," lots of time, effort and expense on achieving such an acomplishment," AT-A-BOY." Looking forward to future discussion, via net or at a hunter forum hunt sometime. Again a job well done in anyones lifetime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! scdave

Thanks guys. Took me a year longer to accomplish because of a divorce, but it was worth the wait.
hatracked, If I'm looking at the same thing as you, that is one of those bail blinds sitting up on a trailer.
