I've been starting to see a good bit of birds hitting the fields in late afternoon around here. It looks like they are still definitely in their winter flocks. I saw over 40 in a field this afternoon around 4 ish. anyone else been seeing any around your area?

weather is still goofy for us here in west kentucky. I do have a roll of film being developed right now from a game cam I had setup on a fence opening. Lots of big tracks in the mud. I'm hoping to have a few good pictures to post later.

Saw the usual suspects there on the west side of 50 near Trappe last Tuesday. Two were strutting. Those birds are in that field ALL the time. Then had a decent gobbler try to put me in a ditch off in Dorchester. Then saw a BIG flock that afternoon, back over in Charles county, with a couple strutting.Week before saw a few bunches over Northern neck,Va.All the miles I've been driving,I need to start loking at the road more, and less time looking for/at birds. ;D
