Ok I have my bow shooting really well before going to Ohio. I get there and shoot just to see. low and behold I'm shooting everything 6 inches low. after a good many 6 inch low shots I listen to boman and move my sight. thinking my sight has moved on the way there in a case I get it hitting right again. Now I get home and go back out to the yard just to make sure it hasnt moved again etc. I tightened it down when i sighted in at ohio believe me i knew it couldnt move on the way home , it was locktight. I get outside and shoot my normal 20 yard pin and guess what ....yep now i am 6 inches high on every shot I know I locked down the screws because I had a really hard time loosening them to adjust again , almost broke the allen wrench set loosening it. anyone have any idea on why ? altitude and arrow flight lmao I have no explaination but I know what happened

The only thing that comes to mind is a change in anchor point or interference with clothing. Are there any changes in that regard? On my XT I needed a 3 inch sight adjustment at 12 yards when I put on the chemical suit hood.

I shot in Ohio wearing the same clothes as I did when I got home. my anchor is pretty set in stone , i know the feel of my hand near my ear and set the release to the corner of my mouth. it could be slightly different but not enough for a 6 inch difference. I don't understand it but I also think both NC and Twanger also had to adjust their sites if I remember hearing them right. I'm curious if they had to readjust once home. Target shot was slightly downhill in Ohio and pancake level here but I can't see that being the reason. I'm not completely happy with my form as of late, I seem to be catching my sleeve an awful lot lately. I seem to be straightening my arm too much lately , but i don't think that is the reason why this happened. I'm baffled at best . how can I break the habit of the string catching my sleeve , bowlers glove with the steel insert bent to an angle maybe to burn that into my brain . I'm straightening my wrist too much.

Yeah, I got back from Ohio and my bow was shooting 4 inches right. What the? I'm sighted in again, but it's certainly a mystery. Also - BH's and field-points no longer hit the same place. Something has changed, but I'm OK with the BH's and they are shooting accurately, so I'll figure this little mystery out after bow season.

er, ... I gotta go shoot my bow. I know what the problem was when I got to Ohio. My nock set had moved slightly. I locked it down and after several days I had all my pins really spot on. I still find it nearly impossible to set all 5 pins exactly perfect in one session.
