Anyone dumb enough to buy a product without even knowing what it is deserves the screwing he will certainly get. It's probably something you can buy at Wally's for 1/3 the money.

I bet it could be put together for WAY less than a third. It's obviously some sort of light to need a 12volt battery and judging from the size of the hint pic, I'd guess it's a tube type light, possibly a black light or a black light in combo with a fluorescent tube. I still think someone adapt enough at internet research can find out exactly what it is.

I think you guys are on the right track. It's gotta be some type of ultra-violet light since the micro-organizimes react to sunlight.

for kicks I pulled up this page; bass pro fishing lightsI didn't notice any going for 195 bucks. ;D when I lived in Tx, my bil had a styrofoam floating headlight lamp and we slayed the crappie using it at times. Although I have various lights for night fishing, I haven't done much of it since the boys were born. Now that my boat is runnin again I'm feelin it.
