I was digging around and found this pic. It is a pic of my second bowkill. He came to my stand grunting ewith every step after hearing my can call. It was a heart shot, (I have a pic of the heart, but I need to find it) but the shot came right before shooting time was over. I gave this deer an hour even though I heard him crash. My first deer I had to bloodtrail as well. It was a learning experience, and I have great memories of this hunt, despite the lack of antler on this buck.

I don't know if this will take away from the first pic, but this is the shot I put on this deer. Entry was steep through the ribs on the back near the spine exiting out brisket. The arrow didn't pass completely through, but he gave up the arrow about 10 yards into the bloodtrail. He only went 30/40 yards from the shot, but it was so thick and also near dark I couldn't see him, but I did here him crash. No more cowhorns for me. Indiana is a one buck state. I haven't killed a buck since I killed this one. I have come to fulldraw on lots of little one's and have seen some shooters out of range, but as of now I have not killed a buck in two years. lol
