Up for auction I have the original John Maynard Kentucky Thunder long box. It is signed by John as number 1 and a quick look see on it will definately satisfy any curiosity the buyer might have to its "First status" This was the prototype that the final run of 99 long boxes was built on. I have not hunted the call it remains safely stored indoors and is not played . The call is absolutely one of a kind , cannot be made again and unless John changes his mind is the last long box he will ever build. I would give it a high rating of collectibility. Highest bidder gets it ! I will add appropriate charges on top of the final sale price for priority mail insured shipping to your doorstep. Bids start at 50 bucks. and the auction will run until May 10 at 12 pm.

hmmm kinda suprised there isnt more bidding interest in Maynards very first long box.
Im working on the pics my digital camera is missing in action so Im having to go to a friends to get a photo .
What i can tell you is the box is in its original condition and that condition is excellent . I have not altered the box or damaged it in any way it is just like it came to me from John. The finish , the sound and playability is original and unique as you would expect a prototype number 1 to be.
