the path that it is taking is eerily familiar isnt it looks like the same corridor they mostly used last season , i'm sure the gulf is plenty warm enough to feed the fire some . things will be picking up quick in the tropics with all the heat around. water temps are rising fast .

The water temps on the East side of the Gulf are ranging from 85.6 to 89 degrees so Rick you are right,look out when it reaches this warmer water and the shallower water around the islands.

Well Chris has been downgraded to a Tropical Depression.It may not be over yet because it is over warmer water now.

I'm glad I got out of the Virgin Islands before that sucker blew through. It apparently wasn't too bad, but it caused alot of the sailboats to get recalled to base, and it rained and rained buckets. That would be a really pain in the ass to be 2 days out and get recalled to base so you can sit around on your keister doing nothing
