Sheriff: Teen Killed When Tree Falls On Tent Teens Were Camping Out When Storm Hit STARK COUNTY, Ohio -- The Stark County sheriff's office is investigating the death of a 16-year-old who was killed during a storm on Thursday. Sheriff Timothy Swanson said that two teens, 16-year-old Jordan Scott Stephens and 16-year-old Kyle Jeffrey Cline, were camping out at the Sugarcreek Valley Coon Club in Navarre when the storm hit. The two teens entered their tent to wait out the storm, and during the storm a tree fell on the tent. The sheriff said after the storm, Cline ran to a nearby pavilion to seek help. Stephens was transported to the Orville Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Cline was taken to Massillon Community Hospital, and then to Aultman Hospital in Canton. There is no word on his condition. This is the second death associated with Thursday's storms. A Lorain County firefighter was killed trying to rescue two teens from high floodwater in Wellington. . link
