Cooperative Agreement Opens 2,300 Acres for Public Hunting American Electric Power (AEP) has placed 2,300 acres of its Poston Plant Lands, located in Athens County, into a cooperative management agreement with the Ohio Division of Wildlife. This agreement allows for the use of the property for public hunting, fishing, and wildlife viewing opportunities. With the addition of the Poston Plant Lands, AEP has 63,876 acres of land in cooperative agreements with the Division of Wildlife in Athens, Coshocton, Guernsey, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble and Perry counties. The 65 acres of land donated to the Athens Conservancy is located adjacent to the Hockhocking Adena Bikeway in Athens County. AEP’s former Poston Generation Station was a coal-fired electricity generation facility that was in operation from 1961 to 1989 and dismantled in 1990. Some of the plant property was sold for economic development in the county. www.dnr.ohio.gov/wildlife/Hunting/aepagreement.htm

2300 acres is sizable. Wonder where it's located exactly?
Wonder if any of Mr Rex's bucks drift to it?
