well the price is hard to beat. ;D seriously, I think it's too short for my liking. What happens with recurve bows that short is string pinch. Even when you master not pinching the arrow off the rest, a session of shooting will be rough on the fingers. Another trait of short bows is hard stacking. Longer bows will allow a longer draw than 28" a little easier and normal draw lengths are smoother as well. Short bows hit a wall of sorts and they are harder to master, almost impossible if the shooter has a long draw. I suggest keeping an eye out for a bow of approx 60" in length for the most fun shooting. Fun is what it's all about anyway and I'd hate to see someone turned off because the first bow is hard to shoot.
