i'm going to do the sd card shuffle with them. i'll have 3 or 4 cards eventually so i can go in and just switch out the sd cards if i choose to keep it where it is. then i can view or download the pics through my binocam . the viewer on it isnt real big but i can download them to a puter or my laptop through it. i may see how much a viewer is and how big the screen is on them before i decide co,mpletely though, but the binocam will work if need be .

looking at ebay i should be able to get a viewer with a 2.5 inch screen for around 40 bucks or so. if not the binocam will work too.

you can't tell nothin with a 2 1/2" screen. not judging book class bucks anyway. If you can a laptop hooked up bigger pics could be viewed? I guess it's time to get my old laptop out and see just how stupid I am ... , er, get it to work. ;D My FIL gave it to me and I've never used it, being more of an internet type user. Walt had one last trip and it was way cool. I've got to learn how to interface these GPS units and get the mapping software I've been wanting.

It should be exciting to get to see what creeps around at night . at least that way i'll know if there is something special around anyway . i figure on putting a couple more on layaway after i pay for these 2, 4 would be nice to have. i have lots of places in mind to put them , and unfortunately i figure sooner or later 1 will get stolen

NC, I have a laptop in the camper that i use for watching dvds on while camping. i got a viewer on ebay for 35 bucks , its only got the small 2.5 " screen but in a pinch it will be way better than the tiny screen on my binocam. the binocam will tranfer them to the laptop as the viewer will also i believe. i would also like to learn how to transfer the gps coords to my puter....what Walt had was just way too damn cool. Twanger should make up a post on what program etc and a how to info guide on the way his is ...hint hint

Bobby, i havent gotten them out yet, going to next week. from everything i read and heard about them they work real good for the price. meaning they have a small delay on the trigger time but if you want fast trigger times you gotta put out about 300 a camera. set them up looking down a trail or at a feeder is what i,ve been told, not somewhere where the pic needs to be instant. for 100 bucks for a digital its a no brainer imo. get a couple sd cards and a battery rechargable type and your in business.

cool, i would buy a viewer and not just a reader, for about 10 more bucks you can look at them in the woods by the camera if you want. the screen is small but wtf . it also acts as a reader to load them up to the puter. just a thought. i'm getting mine out tues and gonna start gathering the parts to make a few from scratch.

Well i just took my cam back to wal mart and got my money back. I took about 10 pics out side and they all but 2 was white. then i sit it up and let my cats play infront of it in the house and they was all white, so then i sit it in fron of the door to catch my wife when she came home. I had her walk straight to it and then wave her hands and jump up and down (im not kidding)) about3- 10 ft from it. finally she walked up and touched it 3 or 4 times before it went off. Im going to save up my money and build one in the next month or 2. Rick i hope you have alot better luck then what i did. My supervisor love his. I dont understand it. every pic but 3 or 4 was white out. I even held it and took one twards the bed roon which was pretty dark and it was almost pure white.
