this is something new here, never heard of it before. a trail cam that when it takes a picture it sends it to an account instantly , then it will send you an email telling you to check your picture. you visit a website and ding ding your pictures is in your account to view. its a monthly service after buying the original camera similar to a cell phone . no more going out to check the camera , you can view the pics right from your computer. this guy or whomever is gonna be a richman lol. www.activehunting.com/

you still have to go in, disturbing the area, and putting your scent all around to swap out those batteries too. unless of course your battery charger has a couple thousand foot extension cord!!!

dont they have solar panels as battery chargers. i know i have seen them , from what i hear they work well. the good thing about these if they do get stolen, you would most likely have their picture emailed to ya . then charges could be pressed. i must say though they are quite an expensive endeavor.

if your quick enough, when you get the pix on your camera phone, you could grab your bow and run back to the camera, and try to put a stalk on them ;')
would'nt that suck to be in one stand, and all the sudden you get a pix of bobby big bones on your phone from your other stand. it could drive you crazy!!!

Yes and no about charges getting filed Rick. If you dont know them or anyone else doesnt know them then it would be hard to charge them. But gosh for that price you should be able to have insurence on them...
I was just jokeing about the batteries ARO. But like Rick said what about the solar panels?

a friend of mine has solar panels on his camera's and feeder's in sika country, they work pretty well at prolonging the battery life, but eventually you need to give them a good charge with house current.
thought i was going high tec, when i was thinking about buying one of those $99 wally world digital's. i'm lagging behind again!!!
