It's odd - I saw a summary last night and was surprised to see that Ocean City has had only a few drops of rain in the last few weeks. Here we've had something like 10 inches in the last 72 hours, and lots more is coming down today.

You may want to do whatever you need to do to prepare for a lot more. It is really dumping here and it's all headed due north.

According to the weather channel Montgomery County Maryland has received 14+ inches of rain in June (as measured in Silver Springs). Man, I'd be surprised to hear that we get much more rain than that in a whole year. I heard that they evacuated part of the Lake Needwood area yesterday because the dam was leaking, and they were worried that it might give way. Also heard that part of Laurel was flooded.
