I bought a metal carport yesterday. The guy wanted to work some kind of trade for one of my boats and I've been considering it for a couple of weeks but decided I better hold my 17 footer a while longer. It's my bear hunting boat among other things. Anyway I stopped by the guys place yesterday and asked what he wanted in cash for the carport. He said right off $400 and I said SOLD. The things cost $700 new around here and his is about 2yrs old. I have to take it down and haul it here but that's no problem. One of my guys has a trailer that will haul the 24 ft long panels and agreed to haul it for $40 dollars. I may get to bringing it over here tomorrow afternoon. It sure will be nice to keep my boats under.

Good deal ! I have been asking the wife for years about getting one along side the house but she would rather have the sun light.

Yeah, I've been lookin at them for a couple of years, sayin to myself, 'I really need one of those.' thing is, I detest paying retail for things along this line. I tried to buy the kit and put it together myself but they will only sell them installed, no breaks, so I held out. Finally the chance at one in like new condition came along and I scooped it up at good savings.
