Gun Season Opener

every hunter in pennsylvania and new jersey as well as maryland were in the woods yesterday for our gun opener. the busiest i have ever seen it in 20 some years of being on the eastern shore. i actually just gave in and came home and hunted out back with my bow . its supposed to rain for the next few days so maybe that will run them off. i did see 1 decent 9 pointer taken but didnt have my camera with me.

dont forget new york. more and more of them. i will bet you any amount of money that anyday these next two weeks you could go to sassafrass and find out of state tags in the parking lot, mainly penn and new york.

im really thinking next year will be bow only and just public land. the two week gun opener will be like a halftime break for me.
