how many times a year do u hunt

just wondering how many times everyone makes it out. i keep a little log.

if i go out in the morning, come in for mid-day, and go back out that counts as two

if i go out from dark till dark and sit all day, thats one.

id say my average hunts are four hours.

ive been 33 times so far this year, with three of those being all day hunts.

my first year i went 34 times and 26 times my second year.

This year a grand total of one whole and three half days. ::)I got three, but this is the least hunting I've done in years. And, it looks like I won't get to go agian this year. I thank God for a good job but sometimes it's just too much of a good thing. Looking forward to retirement.

i say not enough, my wife says too much lol. i havent logged my journal nearly as many times as i went out hunting. i would have to say 100 would be a fair assesment if half days count before its all over. sometimes i do hunt/scout with a weapon though.

More than I should, not near as much as I'd like. I get back to it tomorrow for a couple of weeks. I'll be sad when it's done.

we have a 3 1/2 month season............some weeks i hunt every day.............some weeks.....just the weekend.............hard to say a total///////////////////////////////AC

I should be at 89 (all dayers) since October 1st, but when you throw work, the weather, the wife into the equation my total is 28 with 4 of those all day hunts. That number will be increasing by Jan 31st though, especially in the next 5 days. ..........its time to get some meat in the freezer so now its buck or doe for me.

I havn't counted 'em, but probably 20 hunts - including half and full days as one hunt.
