fergy and I were campground neighbors for a bit during the Ohio gun season.

After the initial chaos subsided fergy picked up this buck later in the week. I think he was using a slug gun.



Although the pic doesn't show it, this buck has 8 points.

I'm sure some of the guys here would like to read about details of the hunt.

This deer was taken on second day of ohio gun season,12 guage, 870 remington at 65 yrds. 210lbs, small rack, good management deer. Next year I'll take it with a bow!! Great meat in the freezer. Got a doe the next day when I took this one to process. Great year , met good people.

Welcome to the site Fergy ! maybe we'll get a chance to meet when we come back up there next year. i'll definitely get back up that way next November, i really liked it up there.
