Man I had buckfever in my crosshairs last night to take the points lead in the contest and flat blew it. I had been waiting to hunt a stand I set for a late season, weeks ago. Everything went as planned, the deer came from where they were suppose to, the wind was perfect the shot angle was perfect and I spoofed the shot right over her back. I can't even come up with an excuse. Just plane MISSED. She did get a crew cut but thats it. Buckfever your not out of the woods yet I took off Monday so I plan on giving it one more shot!!!!!
Monday is all about the CONTEST, Im going for the Win, I love the late season, the contest just makes it more fun.
Let ya all know how it goes ;D

charlie, i can relate to what your saying, because at 8:05 am sat morning, i missed a doe at 11 yds, grazed her back. nothing but a handful of hair!!! sad thing is, i have a pin dedicated to 15 yds and under. well, we still have two more days!!!

Been there done that at ranges under 10yds. I have a hard time remembering to aim 2" low (with my 20yd pin) and bend at the waist. If I don't the shot goes 4" high.
