Here's a link to a Gazette story that prominantly mentions our recently formed Deer Management Team. For once, some good press!
We took out 75 does this year, so assuming an average of two fawns per doe that would have been born, that's 225 less deer this neighborhood will have to cope with this year.
The devastation in that neighborhood was amazing. People had electric fences around shrubs, and 8-10ft high fences around their entire yards. Hopefully their plants will start growing back again this year.
