A couple of what I consider experts mentioned they thought face camo the most important camo of all, especially turkey hunting. I agree but I hate the nasty paint, etc. I opt for a face mask and use it nearly all the time. Here's my favorite one, thanks to hatrack; What's your preference, makeup, mask, or nothing?

Ditto. I use a light material leafy cut face mask unless it's REALLY cold, and then I use a woolen one. I used to use camo paint, but it made my skin break out, and as you say, it's a big mess.

Face mask for me. It looks exactly like yours Boman. I cannot stand anything other than the mesh mask.
I have tried the baclava(sp?) during cold weather as well as a mask made from cotton , but the glasses keep fogging up and the thickness of these masks messes with the anchor point.
Never fooled with the paint stuff.

i wear a double neck gaiter when its cold and 1 when its not. i leave it down until i see something, then i pull it up to cover my big nose and ears lol . i always take it down when i shoot though . a slight tug from the bottom is all it takes to lower it. with turkeys its the same except i dont pull it down to shoot like with the bow. the nets and any other ones make me feel claustraphobic i guess, cant stand it.
