news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060523...sc/elk_thinningThat's right we're going to spend millions to thin out a herd instead of allowing a revenue generating activity, also known as hunting. You see I know, you all think I'm wacked when I keep talking about how pervasive this societal sickness is, but there it is. It will require an act of Congress, literally to allow hunting, to restore that balance. It is the right thing to do and yet what is the right and correct solution, is not politically correct you see. God forbid that we recognize man as a hunter, man as a predator, OH GOD please no anything but that. Please do not let men be men, do not sanction that, not even remotely. You know it's not going to be until the "hunter" is regarded as some special interest minority whose right's have been trampled on that, we'll get traction. And again only for political gain. Unless someone in Congress can see the political advantage of setting straight this stupidity, will the right thing be done. But rest assured, it will not be because it's the right thing to do. Seriouly though, we should watch this case, as it could have far reaching implications.

If every hunter joined the NRA the politicians would have no choice but to consider our interests with every decision they make. It doesn't matter if you completely agree with the NRA's policys or not. We have to collectively band together into ONE organization with ONE voice. Then we'll be taken seriously, and not before.
