I came across this dude last week on one of my leases. I grabbed a minute of footage before they got nervous on me. I have not processed the video yet, but grabbed a couple stills out of the footage.

He is a clean as the come 8pt. Swallows the 15-16" 10pt to the left.

He's a nice one. Tall racks will sometimes throw me but I'd guess 18 1/2" inside. Right beam slightly high.

So what you gonna do, give him another year?

I don't know. I have a few other bucks lined up for the opener on Saturday afternoon. I have another 8pt that is pretty close to this one but lacks a little height.

I think this one is 19" easy. I think the velvet makes him look a bit tighter than what he is.

In Ky, if I could kill that buck Sat afternoon, I would.

I'd sure hope he's shed the velvet by then though. I very much prefer hardhorns.

Would be gutwrenching to be in Ohio tryin for an already known booner and have that guy walk up.
