MYTH:
The large antlered bucks do most of the breeding
Fact:
No one buck fathers a large % of a herd in there lifetime.
With Elk and other herd deer the dominate male does most of the breeding.
Whitetail breeding is spread among several bucks, with yearlings doing the least
