First is this the right place to post crossbow questions?
Second, After yr.s of living in MD and going back to VA to hunt, it looks like I've gotten permission to hunt in a spot on private land close to work using my crossbow or later a slug gun. I rushed to the MDNR site and on the first two run throughs didn't find anything about a daily limit on how many deer I can kill. So what's the rule and where the heck is it in the laws?
For yr.s I've hunted VA counties where I could kill two a day with a gun and heaven knows they need thinning out, but I wouldn't want to make the mistake of killing two if only one is legal.

there is no daily limit in MD just a season limit per weapon. I hate the way they have it right now and believe a daily limit should exist myself.

Thanks Freedom, I thought that's what the laws implied. I guess with the overpopulation MDNR figures having no daily limit is one of the few ways left to increase the deer kill by the shrinking numbers of hunters. I guess I don't have a real problem with it under the current circumstances.
A few year ago a group of us hunted grown up dairy farm in Loudon Co. VA. All but one guy had killed two by lunch. It seemed an awful waste of talent for the rest of us to stand around the remainder of the day shooting the bull with deer scarffing up the farmers crops all around us.
Is this the right bullitin board for crossbow questions or should I have posted on one of the archery BB's?
