Moon transit today was 10:14a.m. I was driving in to the office at 12:30 to do some painting. Damned near ever deer was feeding. It was overcast with a front moving in and perdiodic drizzling.
I have yet to observe Moon transit explain anything. I'll tell you for sure though, they've been moving at 5 every evening like clock work. I wouldn't give up the evening hunt.

You know what? I'm just grumpy because I keep losing hunting days to my wife's work travel schedule.

Actually fellas I was planning on an all day hunt despite any moon transit data. ;D I will be in a chain on in a transition between bed and feed in the morning probably until 1230-1300. Then switch stands for the afternoon hunt to a tree near some oaks using my climber. This will be the first time this season that I can actually pull off hunting morning and evening. I have yet to make an evening hunt. Just to much school crap to do. I wish the farmer would get busy with his corn!!!!!

I didn't get out this morning. I made it out last night and got skunked except for squirrels, and two turkeys who roosted 40 yards from me. Found 5 small scrapes on my way in yesterday, which is encouraging. Wind is good for an evening hunt on the edge of a bedding area. Front is coming in also with light rain predicted for tomorrow. I hope to make it out about 3pm this afternoon...we'll see.
