After working 6-7 days a week for the past 9 months we're finally back on 5 days a week. ;D
I am so excited about going hunting this weekend! Finally!
I got my shooting lanes cleared out a couple weeks ago in one afternoon at both places I hunt, got a new string on my bow, and got it sighted in perfectly. I'm more than ready.
Heres the forecast for this weekend:
Saturday: partly sunny. Highs in the low/mid 50s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
Saturday Night: mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers. Lows in the upper 30s.
Sunday: a 60 percent chance of showers. Highs in the mid 50s.
I can deal with the rain.....nothin new to me, I just hope their wrong about the wind gusts.
I made up my mind to take a doe out early then focus on a buck during the rut.........but if a big buck just happens to slip up, we'll too bad for him. lol.
I just hope the weather doesn't put a damper on the first weekend I can actually go out and hunt.
