From across the field blind circled in red. Its an outside corner and the nearest corner to the finger on the right that juts out into the field which leads to/from a bedding area. Probably not the best spot to arrow a monster buck, but a great hideout if you're looking to fill a freezer full of venison with a gun. At bow range A close up. The two small blow downs make for a perfect fit. These in combination with the natural brush = no brush in of the blind. Although, it look like it could use a bit in the 3rd pic from the top. It did the trick though, and the deer on Thursday evening were at 15-25 yards and had no clue I was in this world.

Thats a sweet setup Dan. The blind is really hard to see, which should make it nearly impossible for a deer to see. the funny thing I found is how certain deer in different places react to a blind. Deer in Ohio rarely even saw it no matter how open it was or how close to it they came. I've found that the deer here in Md get on it right away. not sure if its a flatland vs hilly land thing or just that they haven't been hunted from a blind , most likely the second since its also flat where you are in Indy. ps I always pull my window flaps in so it doesn't make that big of a black hole .
