Earl Homan of Coldwater, Ohio used his shotgun to take this buck at 10:15am on 11 28 06, the 2nd day of the Ohio gun season. The buck was patroling his rubline. This mainframe 8pt is a 140 class buck and was killed less than a mile from our undisclosed deer camp. beautiful buck and a happy but tired hunter. Congrats Earl. btw, the gash in the buck's back was from a previous wound and looked to be several weeks old.

Nice.... cant say i saw that one . looks like a high arrow shot maybe or a ml shot high. either way you got a sad hunter who missed and a happy hunter who didnt . pretty sweet but it still isnt one of the 2
