A friend that lives in Vermont sent me a picture of this nice NH buck his buddy took. Here's what he wrote... "my other buddy got a real nice buck less than a quarter mile from camp. He headed up into the woods and found two fresh scrapes and two big rubs that were made during the night. So he decided to sit for an hour before he headed up to where he wanted to hunt. He grunted a couple of times and waited about 10 minutes, then grunted again. The buck was bedded on a ridge behind him. He came down to investigate who was in his territory. The deer came in with his nose to the ground and stopped in about the only shooting lane he had. He dropped him with one shot. The buck dressed out at 187 and has 10 scorable points. My rough score put him at 165 and it is a very symmetrical rack. This will be the buck to beat for years to come at camp...."
