Deer season is hunting , from sun up to sun set on a trip. If you wnat to fish have fun. But if you in for deer hunting it takes more than a quick morning hunt to learn SIka. I have been at Sika hunting for about 9 years now and they are not the bit like White tail. You can't pattern them and the moon fase works good but there main movement is early and late. Moon fase movement durring the day is mainly in the swamps and marches. To hunt them you need to be on your game and not thinking about fishing. LOL

You all got me pumped up already for this hunt.I've got to figure out my time off.I hope to hunt at least four days, maybe the first weekend?I don't think I will have enough time to take a whole week, but who knows.
I just talked to slowjimbo and he is going to try to go.We will keep talking to work something out.I need to work on Kent and get him out of the house. That will be a task to get him to make the trip with me.Wish me luck.

I sure hope you can make a good stay of it Jeff. No matter how much time you can get, I'll guarantee you'll want to stay longer. I haven't been to the island yet but the awesome deer sign all around Pokomoke is gravy train to a bowhunter.

Heck Todd we can always try.
Cmon JD don't let the distance scare you off. These East Coast guys have already set the precedence of driving wherever to have a good time with friends and hunt the elusive Whitetail. Most of them came down to Green River in Kentucky and I know some have traveled alot further than that to hunt deer.
